ATTENTION Potential Recruits: Come see for yourself, bring your Parent or Guardian to the below location. See the Young Marines in action. A typical Young Marines drill is a structured training session with formation and accountability, physical fitness, close order drill, and a short class or skills block. Young Marines also practice leadership, public speaking, and taking responsibility within the unit, which builds confidence and communication skills over time.

What to expect

A potential Young Marine recruit observing drill should expect a structured, fast-paced, and respectful environment where everyone is focused and engaged. They will see Young Marines in formation, doing physical training and drill, and participating in a short class or skills block. They will also notice youth their age taking on leadership roles, giving commands, and speaking in front of the group, which creates a disciplined but positive atmosphere centered on teamwork and confidence building.
